Whenever this person is around, I want to punch his face. I'm not sure why. I always disagree to his statements. Maybe, this is something subconscious.
Dear reader,
The fact that you feel a lingering impulse to punch a person in the face means that you bear ill-feelings towards him and would like to express that anger. You seem to have become negativistic towards him, judging from your declaration that “you always disagree to his statements”. Most probably your focus has been on your emotions which is why hostility is your first reaction and the offensive thing that he has done becomes secondary. You will realize why you are feeling this way only if you stop for a while and allow some time to evaluate your emotions and think about the reasons why you are reacting like this towards him. You have not really forgotten the reason why you feel that way towards him but you are just too focused on your anger and hurt feelings that you do not think anymore about the underlying reason.
It is normal to feel anger. This buildup of anger may, however, consume you and be detrimental to you and your goals in life. It is best to confront the root of your emotions and resolve it the best way you can.
Sincerely,
