I just noticed that a friend of mine (Let us call him Carlo) has sex to cope up with his depression. Instead of talking about how he feels, Carlo tries to make himself feel better by having sex. In this situation, his sexual partner (probably partners) in a way becomes a tool to alleviate his condition. Won’t this make things worse for him in the long run? He does not confront any of his problems directly too.
