Specialist referral

If you would like to be treated by a psychiatrist, you can go directly to any nearby hospitals or you can ask your family doctor for a referral letter. Any doctor can refer you to a psychiatrist. If you are already being treated by a specialist for other medical conditions, you may also ask the doctor to refer you to a psychiatrist.
